Thank you for suggesting a speaker for the TEDx USC "Ideas Empowered" conference, taking place April 13, 2010 at the University of Southern California.

We are looking for charismatic, dramatic, and thought-provoking speakers to give the best talk they have ever given. We are looking for them to tell an impactful story, reveal something surprising and unexpected, do something the audience will remember forever, and even share an idea that could change the world. Speakers will need to be highly rehearsed and dynamic.

More important than name recognition is the talk itself. For TEDx USC 2009, we considered more than one hundred excellent speakers before we settled on the mix that you saw. We are looking for something unique - it doesn't have to be a traditional talk.

Sprinkled throughout and in-between the lectures will be short films, musical performances, and other thought-provoking entertainment content. We would also like your suggestions for presenters, performers and demos.

We will review all of these submissions thoroughly, and will be in touch with any questions.

Please note that we receive many suggestions for potential speakers, and as such, we may not respond to every nomination. (And yes, you can nominate yourself.)
